FREE FREE FREEBIE FREE (why be subtle?)

The only thing better than seeing some of your own work published in a magazine is getting 23 copies of it and surrounding yourself in a magical circle of magazine madness. It's bit like a fairy ring of mushrooms in a forest, sit in the center and make wishes, or in this case just sit and absorb the papery goodness of the publications that surround you, turning a blind eye to every page except 46, 47 & 48.
Some of these magazines are spoken for, friends and relatives will soon be the lucky recipients, whether they want to be or not, of their very own copy. Bragging by mail is even more satisfying than bragging by blog and it's harder to ignore. ;)
But after a bit of math I still have copies left over sooooooooo I will be giving away 7 copies of the magazine to 7 lucky blog commenters. This is an exciting opportunity, free for you should you win, one brand spanking new copy of the most awesome issue of Art Doll Quarterly EVER and I'll even make sure you don't get a drooled upon one. (I'll save those for my family)
Just leave a comment on THIS post between now and Aug 1, 6 pm west coast time, and I will add your name to the drawing. Check back after 6 and see if you won! If you did, email me with your address and I'll mail you one FREE, brand spankin' new, authentic, absolutely awesome, 100% real, genuine paper, copy of the BEST ISSUE EVER YET of Art Doll Quarterly!!!!!!!!!! (look how many exclamation marks I used, you just know this is a good deal if it warrants 10 exclamation marks)
One entry per person please.
For anyone unfamiliar with Art Doll Quarterly (and how sad for you), it's a gorgeous 128 page, 9.99 retail price valued, 15.125 ounce, magazine full of color photos and text about art dolls. There's a little something in there for everyone whether you like pretty or creepy or whimsical or serious dolls. A lot of styles, a lot of mediums, it's a visual feast! Of course I'm sure you'll find it as difficult as me to tear yourself away from pages 46, 47 & 48.
So leave a comment and tell your friends!

Hi Tace, Congratulations on being featured in Art Doll Quarterly. It's a wonderful magazine and quite an honor to be selected. You should be proud. How exciting!!! I'm also excited about being the first to comment on this post, I just happen to stumble on your blog this Sunday morning when following some art doll links....what a world full of enchantment you have here. Wouldn't I love to receive a copy of ADQ to see what you have there!

I am in the middle of making my first art doll from Paperclay and the little characters in your world give me tons of inspiration. Everyone should check out your website and gallery to see your "notice to purple gremlins" and your clever characters with their imaginative 'life stories'. How do you ever think of all that stuff!!! It amazes me!! I will definitely be back to look around some more!

What medium do you use? Is it polymer clay or an air-dry clay? If it's air dry, I would like to invite you to join our air-dry-clay Yahoo group. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Air-Dry-Clay/ Lots of talented, like-minded people from all over the globe!

Thank-you for your kind comments Elizabeth, Scribheneoir and Elizabeth! You are all now entered in my drawing :)

Elizabeth, thanks for the compliments, I very much enjoy making little characters, very satisfying!

Scribheneoir, it didn't take as long to set up as you'd think, mostly because I've been playing with the pile of magazines for a few dys now and have become quite expert at arranging them, consider them artists' building blocks, hahahaha

MaryBlue, Congrats on beginning your first art doll, you'll be hooked for life now. haha I have used paper clay a few times but the majority of my work is made with polymer clay. I'm always trying new clays though, it seems each kind has it's own special properties that lends itself better to different projects.

Woohoo girl! Congrats on the publishing, how exciting. Now did you write the article as well in your wonderful style? No? Too bad that would have been a great addition! Maybe you could demand said rights on your next fabulous publishing contract, LOL!

Hi Anonymous, did you want entered in the drawing? I'll need to know how to differentiate between you and any other anonymous commenters I get on my blog. If you leave another comment, just a simple "hi" will do and fill in a name then I can enter you in the drawing.
You are so right about Una, she definitely looks like she has Star Warsian lineage.
